Another former prime minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, who also plans to challenge General Musharraf in the general election in January, bought sweets from a vendor on the way to court in Larkana to file her nomination papers. Ms. Bhutto said she was ready to form an alliance with Nawaz Sharif.
